Sorry Marc*...

...but I have to post about this.

According to a donrockwell.com member, McDonald's in Maine serves up a "McLobster Roll" during the summer.

I'll admit, it doesn't look half bad, but I know it couldn't hold a candle to the roll I had last July in Maine.

Regardless, there's just something...wrong about this. Thoughts?

I love sampling obscure/regional McDonalds offerings. I've still yet to try their Maryland Crabcake in Baltimore.

It is conceivable that we could have Marc overnight a few of them to us in a small cooler...

The funny thing is...I don't even like lobster rolls. It's the mayonnaise.

I heard that either Burger King or McDonalds in Europe was starting to sell a 75 dollar burger. How do you think this would compare?

I'm sure it's pretty much what you'd expect from a McDonald's lobster roll, or a McDonald's haute hamburger.

McD's and BK should stick to what they do best - with the obvious adjustments - and leave the overpriced burgers to hotel restaurants that target expense account clients.
