We're going to the beach...and we need your help.

This will probably be the last post until Monday, because Apples and I are headed to Rehoboth Beach, DE for the weekend.

So this is where I turn to you for advice; is there a restaurant that we shouldn't miss? Some beach specialty that I can't come home without? Are there places to avoid?

Please, leave comments with suggestions, and I'll report back with results on Monday. Until then, have a great weekend everyone!

Fractured Prune: amazing, do-it-yourself, warm, gooey donuts. Don't miss that!

If you are willing to go on the costly end of things, Espuma is worth every dime. Jay Caputo is a James Beard Foundation award winning chef that could put any chef between here and NYC to shame, IMO! I think the restaurant's creativity is similar to Johnny Monis at Komi, although I like being at the beach while I'm indulging in fab food. Espuma is on First Street just south of Wilmington Avenue. Another good, often overlooked place, is Cafe Sole on Baltimore Avenue between First & Bayard Avenue (aka 2nd Street). There's so many to choose from! If you want a to-die-for and I do mean that cheeseteak then be sure to stop into Louie's. On Rehoboth Ave, beach block north side, near the boardwalk. Well worth the $7. :)

I'm a fan of the delicious beers at the Dogfish Head brewery.

Hopkins Family Creamery, because at they have awesome homemade ice cream, and what's summer without ice cream! They are located in Lewes, DE down route 9 and have ice cream cones on their silo.

A great place to eat is Nage. They have truffle matchstick fries with sea salt that are amazing!

I was there last weekend as well. We ate at FINS Fish House and Raw Bar on Rehoboth Ave. for dinner because I just had have some oysters. (They were great by the way.) Otherwise, we didn't really try anywhere else. Hope you have fun.

You should definitely check out the Lobster menu at Dos Locos (208 Rehoboth Ave), as well as the breakfast and the ice cream at The Royal Treat (4 Wilmington Ave).

Go to Go Fish, great fish and chips. A few doors from the boardwalk. And good beer.
