In/Out lists are so in right now

If you bought the hard copy of the January edition you've already seen this, but in case you haven't, Washingtonian has their 2008 Foodie In/Out List posted online.

Some of the highlights of what's in: Greek yogurt, dates, cheese plates, Hungarian Wines and half portions.

So what's out? Figs, broccoli rabe, Australian Wines, and Martinis.

So, what do you think of the list? If you had to redo the list, what would you put on it?

I had no idea that food was like fashion in that things go out of style. That's so bizarre to me.

And ew gross to the liver and onions and chicken liver. Yech to liver anything. I would always keep liver on the out list.

And basil will always be in with me. :o)

Excuse me, but Martinis are never out of style. Color me offended!

I'm with tweaks. Martinis have been cool for forever, and will stay that way.

Brocolli rabe is never out. I love it! I agree with the greek yogurt. I recently discovered it and did not know what I was missing.
